Introducing Two New Flowcharts: HSA Contribution Rules and NUA Distribution Rules

We are excited to make available two additional flowcharts to our Essentials and Deluxe members.  This brings the total number of flowcharts up to 23.

Can I Do A Net Unrealized Appreciation (NUA) Distribution?  This flowchart addresses some of the most common issues that arise for a client looking to do an NUA distribution from their employer-sponsored retirement plan.  

Can I Make A Deductible Contribution to My HSA? This flowchart covers many of the rules and requirements that a client must satisfy in order to make an HSA contribution.  This is particularly helpful for clients who will experience a change to their health insurance coverage this year (such as leaving a company, changing from individual to family coverage, or starting Medicare).
